Grumman OV-1 Mohawk

The Grumman OV-1 Mohawk was a versatile American military aircraft, primarily used by the US Army for battlefield surveillance, observation, and light attack missions. Designed to operate from short, unimproved runways in support of maneuver forces, it featured a twin turboprop configuration and side-by-side seating for a crew of two. The Mohawk was the first turboprop aircraft to enter US Army service. A total of 380 Grumman OV-1 Mohawk aircraft were built, according to aviation resources. These aircraft were produced between 1959 and 1970. The Mohawk served in various roles, including battlefield surveillance and light strike missions.
