Traditional Geometric & Paisley Ajrakh Block Print Scarf - Blue Red

One of the oldest hand block printing techniques (dating back to 2500 BC) is now being practiced and preserved by artisans in Gujarat, India. Characterised by bright red and deep indigo colours, these prints incorporate jewel-like patterns which symbolise elements of nature such as stars and flowers.

 This scarf features traditional motifs as seen in the facades of the palaces, on both the ends. The centre of the scarf portends a cluster of motifs representing the astrophysical aspects. The rectangular shape and modal fabric provides a comfortable and elegant drape.
