Face Elixir

1300 years ago, Ayurvedic masters in India experimented with herbs to help regenerate the skin. They developed a recipe that was very effective: medicinal herbs such as saffron flower, blue lotus, vetiver, red sandalwood and 20 other rare ingredients were boiled in sesame oil and distilled to create an elixir. The users found it so good that they believed that the two Ayurvedic gods Nasatya and Dasara brought the divine elixir to the people. The recipe is mentioned in the ancient Ayurvedic texts like Ashtanga Hridayam and Bhaisajya Ratnavalli around 700 AD.

The key ingredient in this powerful elixir is saffron, which is said to have the ability to improve skin tone and complexion. Soothing ingredients like red sandalwood, vetiver and bael fruit help your skin fight pollution. Essences from plants such as java fig, mahua and liquorice treat superficial problems such as discoloration and scars.

APPLICATION

The elixir works best if you apply it at night before bed. Put a few drops in your palm and heat the oil by rubbing your palms together. Gently massage it onto your face and neck. You can leave it on overnight or take it off your face after 2 hours. The scent takes a little getting used to as it is completely natural and odorless. After 30 days of regular use, you will notice improvements in your face.
