Sukhoi Su-25

The Sukhoi Su-25, nicknamed "Frogfoot" by NATO, is a Soviet/Russian attack aircraft designed for close air support of ground forces. It's known for its ruggedness and ability to operate from unimproved airfields. The Su-25 entered service in 1981 and has seen extensive combat use in various conflicts. Over 1,300 Sukhoi Su-25 "Frogfoot" close air support aircraft have been built. This includes various versions like the single-seat, two-seat trainer, and export models. Production started in 1978 and continued until 2017 in Russia and 2010 in Georgia.
