Diamond DA42 Twin Star

The Diamond DA42 Twin Star is a four-seat, twin-engine, propeller-driven aircraft manufactured by Diamond Aircraft Industries. It was first flown in 2002 and certified in 2004. Over 1,000 Diamond DA42 Twin Star aircraft have been produced. This twin-engine, four-seat aircraft was first introduced in 2004 and has seen continued production and sales, according to Diamond Aircraft. The DA42 is known for its efficiency, safety features, and suitability for various roles, including private use, utility, and military applications.  It was Diamond's first twin engine design, as well as the first new European twin-engine aircraft in its category to be developed in over 25 years.
