The Lii-D4XL stands out thanks to its smart microcomputer management system that intelligently selects the appropriate charging current based on the battery type and condition. The available current settings include 300mA, 500mA, and 1000mA, offering flexibility for delicate low-capacity cells as well as high-drain larger formats. This adaptability not only enhances user control but also contributes to prolonging battery life by delivering optimized charging tailored to each individual cell. The charger can automatically detect standard lithium-ion and NiMH batteries, while the user can manually select lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) or 3.8V high-voltage lithium-ion cells (IMR), ensuring compatibility with specialized chemistries.

At the heart of the Lii-D4XL is a clear and informative LCD screen that displays key metrics during the charging process, including voltage, capacity, elapsed time, and charging percentage. Upon connection to a power source, the display briefly illuminates all segments for three seconds before transitioning to standby unless batteries are inserted. Once a cell is detected in any of the four slots, the corresponding slot number and battery type begin to flash on-screen, prompting the user to select the appropriate chemistry via the Mode button. After five seconds, if no action is taken, the charger defaults to its automatic detection mode and begins charging. The display continues to update in real time, showing the progress of each battery, and when fully charged, it reads 100% with an “End” message in the lower corner, clearly indicating the conclusion of the charging cycle.

Beyond the standard cylindrical battery support, the Lii-D4XL also features dual 9V battery charging ports located on either side of the LCD panel. These ports provide approximately 85mA of current per battery and include a red/green LED system to indicate charging and standby or completion states. This additional functionality enhances the device’s utility, allowing users to manage a broader range of battery types with a single unit. The Lii-D4XL is also equipped with advanced safety protocols, including protection against overcharging, over-discharging, short circuits, and reverse polarity. Furthermore, it can detect faulty or non-rechargeable batteries and suspend operation to prevent unsafe conditions, giving users peace of mind during every charging session.

A unique feature of this charger is its 0V activation function, which is especially useful for reviving deeply discharged lithium-ion batteries. While cells measuring between 1.65V and 2.20V cannot be fully charged, the charger applies a trickle current to gradually bring them back to a voltage level suitable for regular charging, increasing the chances of battery recovery. Charging is managed using a combination of constant current and constant voltage modes, with a cut-off current below 100mA, ensuring that batteries are safely and fully topped off without the risk of overcharging.

Kye and display:

1. Mode: Press the button to control the four slots. Within 5 seconds of powering on and inserting the battery, click the Mode button to select the type of charging battery. After selecting the type of battery to be charged (such as 3.20V 3.80V) for 5 seconds, it enters the charging state,
2. Within 5 seconds after powering on the battery with the current button, click the current button to select the corresponding current (300mA, 500mA, 1000mA)
3. LCD: After the charger is connected to the power supply, the LCD display will fully light up for 3 seconds. If the battery is not placed in the charging slot, the LCD display will be null. After no operation, the display will turn off for 30 seconds. When a battery is detected, the LCD displays the corresponding slot number, and the battery type symbol (Li ion 3.70V) flashes. At this time, click the Mode key to select the type of battery that needs to be charged. If not selected, it will enter the default recognized battery for charging after 5 seconds. At this time, the charging percentage symbol flashes to indicate that charging is in progress, and the voltage, capacity, and time are all displayed. When charging is complete, the percentage is displayed as 100% and End is displayed in the lower right corner.
