preparation
Brew your green tea at 70°C. For one liter of water, you should put about 12-15 grams of tea into a tea strainer. This corresponds to about 4 heaped teaspoons. Let your green tea steep for 1-3 minutes before removing the tea strainer from the water.
You can brew the tea 2-3 times. This means that with a tin of tea that is filled with 65g, you can make about 75 cups of green tea.
The good thing about your tea is that you can also brew it cold as cold brew tea. The dosage is similar, but you have to let the tea steep in cold water for 30-60 minutes. This is a refreshing alternative, especially for the warm summer months.
You can also put your brewed tea in the fridge after it has finished brewing so you can drink it as a healthy iced tea.

Further information
Our Japanese green tea Green Gem is a fine green tea, the Tamaryokucha, which is also known as "green gem tea". The harvest time is usually between the end of April and the beginning of May.
The Tamaryokucha is light yellow-green in the cup and has a mild, nutty taste with a slightly sweet finish. The special thing about the Tamaryokucha is that it is heated in pans, which gives the leaves their distinctive rolled or curled shape. This short steaming process preserves all the aromatic substances in the tea so that it can develop its full-bodied taste. An absolute tea rarity.
Of course, like all our teas, this tea is also an organic certified tea according to DE-ÖKO-039.
