Jamawar design is usually a paisley motif woven into the pashmina. The pashmina Jamawars cost a fortune because pashmina is expensive, and it takes years to embroider the shawl. This shawl is a replica of an antique Jamawar design but in fine wool so is not as expensive as it would be on pashmina. It has been hand embroidered. This is a cheaper way of owning the world renowned Kashmir Jamawar.
