Flopoxy Fast Set Epoxy Two Part Kit - FAQ
Q- Is MakerFlo epoxy self leveling and self healing?
A- Yes! MakerFlo epoxy resin is self-leveling, ensuring a smooth, even finish on flat and curved surfaces without excessive manipulation. When working with circular objects like stainless steel tumblers or resin ornaments, the epoxy naturally flows to create a seamless coat. However, due to the curved shape, excess epoxy may pool or drip at the bottom if too much is applied. To achieve a professional, even finish:
Rotate continuously (use a cup turner for tumblers).
Apply in thin layers to prevent sagging or uneven curing.
Check for drips and smooth them out before the resin fully sets.
While MakerFlo epoxy offers durability and a glossy finish, it is not self-healing like some urethane-based coatings. If scratched or dented after curing, it won’t automatically repair itself. However, you can sand and recoat the surface to restore its original shine.
