Sharpness is part of the features, but the rigid center spine provides plenty of structural integrity for repeated throwing. Holes are dotted through the handle with the flat black finish. Listen to the sound created from the holes when thrown to tune your throwing speed and style. Included free with the set is a tough nylon sheath and belt loop to secure the knives.
